3. Storage and Safety
Your information is stored securely on servers featuring modern access controls. Document text scanned using our free tools is cached temporarily in memory and automatically cleared after processing.

1. Consultation Plans Refund Terms
As our consultation plans involve instant access to digital databases, tools, and downloadable templates, we generally enforce a no-refund policy once the access pass is activated. However, for KES 4,500 VIP annual plans, a full refund can be requested within 14 days of purchase, provided that you have not initiated the 1-on-1 advisor WhatsApp session or submitted a CV for manual rewrite rewriting.
2. Processing Refunds
Approved refunds are processed back to the original source (M-Pesa or PayPal) within 5 to 7 business days from approval. Contact support@workabroadhub.tech to file a request.

🌐 What is the Green Card Lottery?
The Diversity Immigrant Visa Program — commonly called the Green Card Lottery or DV Lottery — is a US government program that makes up to 55,000 immigrant visas (green cards) available each fiscal year to people from countries with historically low immigration rates to the United States.
A green card grants you Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR) status in the United States, meaning you can live, work, and study in the US indefinitely. After holding a green card for five years (three years if married to a US citizen), you can apply for US citizenship.
The program is run by the US Department of State. Selection is done by a random computer drawing — there is no exam, no essay, and no way to improve your chances beyond submitting a valid entry during the registration window.
✅ Eligibility Requirements
Country of Birth
You must be a native of an eligible country. Most African countries including Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Ghana, and many others are eligible. Countries that sent more than 50,000 immigrants to the US in the past 5 years are excluded (e.g. Nigeria in some years, Mexico, China, India).
Education or Work Experience
You must have at least a high school education or its equivalent (completion of 12-year primary and secondary education), OR two years of work experience within the past five years in an occupation requiring at least two years of training or experience.
No Criminal Record
Applicants must be admissible under US immigration law. Certain criminal convictions, health conditions, and security concerns may make you ineligible.
Age
There is no minimum or maximum age requirement, but you must meet the education or work experience requirement which practically means you need to be at least 18 in most cases.
Spouse & Children
Your spouse and unmarried children under 21 can be included on your application and will receive green cards if you are selected.
📄 Application Steps
Check Registration Period
The DV Lottery registration window typically opens in October each year for about 30 days. DV-2026 entries were accepted from October 2–November 5, 2024. Watch for DV-2027 opening around October 2025.
Prepare Your Documents
Gather recent digital photos meeting US visa photo standards (2x2 inches, white background, plain expression), your passport details, and information on your education/work history.
Submit Your Entry Online
Go to dvprogram.state.gov and complete the Electronic Diversity Visa Entry Form (E-DV). The entry is completely free. You will receive a unique confirmation number — save it carefully.
Check Your Results
Results are published on dvprogram.state.gov starting in May of the following year. You need your confirmation number and other personal details to check. Results are NOT sent by email or letter.
If Selected — Submit DS-260
Selected applicants (and family members) must complete the DS-260 Immigrant Visa Application online through the Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC). You'll need police certificates, medical exam results, and financial support documents.
Attend Visa Interview
If your case number is current (there are limited visas), you'll be scheduled for an interview at a US Embassy or Consulate. Bring all original documents. If approved, your visa stamp allows you to travel to the US and receive your green card.
